Price has been announced via Twitter: $250/kWh at the pack level for systems over 100MWh. Thanks to those who commented.

I think the main point of supporting Tesla is for research and development. Things are being down now that weren't possible 20 years ago, and things will be done to make things possible in the future that we couldn't imagine now.
lelo and stich reference? that was a lame "fact". thanks turd
Nothing will top nuclear energy!
Hope tesla can come to south east Asia soon . What a great product
Tesla Powerwall's have been sold as the band-aid for intermittent, unreliable renewables. But are up to the job? Eco-modernists have analysed it, and remain dismayed about the potential for intermittent, unreliable renewables because the storage would bankrupt any nation that tried to do it! EG: If wind and solar provided just a third of Germany's power it would cost so much money to buy just *one* week of storage that you could instead nuke the entire grid. Backup a third of the grid for a week, or nuke the entire grid for 60 years! If Germany was 100% renewables, the storage would cost 3 times as much for one week. It gets worse. German winters often cut renewables for *many* weeks at a time. Two weeks storage is 6 times as expensive, and three weeks is 12 times as much as nuking the entire grid! Remember, that does not even include buying and maintaining the wind and solar farms in the first place! Point 2 below http://thebreakthrough.org/index.php/issues/renewables/the-grid-will-not-be-disrupted Modern breeder reactors eat nuclear waste, converting a 100,000 year storage problem into centuries of clean energy. The final waste product (fission products) only has to be stored 500 years. They have passive safety systems where the laws of physics take over in any power failure. France shows they can be rolled out fast and economical, and that was with older reactors. Today's reactors can be mass produced. This is not hypothetical. This is history. This is fact. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_power_in_France#Messmer_Plan
Naration at ~3:00 ssaid 1500 California homes, graphics showed 15,000. That's a big difference.
Nice to see Tesla and Edison working together again...
Instead, why not ask it this way: "What are answers to the remaining questions?"
Excellent resource for the student and the installer. From the basics of solar energy to installation, it has [link here>>>https://plus.google.com/u/3/113778429958471787540/posts/67MrRb1YGej ] nearly everything you need to effectively make solar projects happen.*
What's the song being played at 1:40?

LOL- If it doesn't work Australian gets the system for free... LOL WOW, If it doesn't work, what the heck does Australia want with it. --- Why you so Mustky Mr. Musk :) jk
Notice how these tesla batteries are NOT being sold to the general public to just anyone. So THEY can operate free from the grid but are sold to elite large corporate grid power providers, so they inturn sell power to the public marked up. One unknown fact is no one can buy a power wall for their own homes or businesses as a stand alone battery bank. You have to pay for tesla to install them and no one else, at their additional noncompetitive pricing.
I have interest in knowing more. no promises to find it, but that is the Industry I've been in for 20+ yrs. I have no issues signing an NDA .
Wait a minute.. You're telling me a battery can give us energy? A power source can give us power? That's impossible. Wow. What a discovery! Did you also know the amount of upkeep required for batteries is way higher for an oil/nuclear plant? Wow! It's like those oil companies are on some "efficiency conspiracy"! Hopefully these new age technologies will save the day and go beyond Moore's Law! Bendable Liquid Crystals! Antenna radiating biotech that can work inside the body! Biomass fuel and fully electrical energy! Materials that are so expensive they will wow you for more than 0.2% of the regular product and 10x times the cost! Wowie Zowie! P.S. Nuclear > Everything.
Dagogo, On your comment not being sure on the life of the battery packs, it’s reasonable your question as the product is relatively new. The best reference that we can use is Tesla itself and their other product...... Model “S”. It has the longest history to present us with hard evidence. The cells used in this car are older technology than what is being used in the power packs and yet, we see recharging % in excess of 93% after 300,000 km (most extreme example from Finland). The data available on this issue is substantial so ample and solid proof that the Panasonic cells are mature and a reliable product
