Philosophy degree...I died😂😂😂😂
Wait, if you put a bunch of stem cells in a liquid solution to keep them alive inside of a needle, would you have a stimpak from fallout?
Try injecting the stem cells from starfish and newts and salamaders and tapeworms because they have much better stem cells than humans
I love Stem Cells, and I hope to be researching them in the future!
you talk too much dude
I have penis cells
hmm hmm oh I see
thats because here in the USA education sucks.. and so people are really stupid and dont understand what science even is let alone why it helps us.
We just watched this in my science class. My life is complete.
Okay. So here's a question. Why is people against Stem cell research?
SciShow do plants have stem cells???
The reference link directed me to buy Instagram likes...
So, at what point in the fertilization process do we strip the stem cells? Do we do it only after a few days?
Did he say hoppin
Stem cell research is so important because of what it can do for people. Of course the ethics come in to question, but in all honesty the embryos will not continue to grow without being in the womb anyways. With permission from the parents, there’s no reason not to study the stem cells and use them as treatment. Adult stem cells are perfect for the individual, but when we’re talking about transplants, embryonic stem cells will most likely be more successful. There are endless possibilities on what we can do with embryonic stem cells, which is why it should be better funded. In the process of in vitro fertilization, you fertilize several eggs, and implant multiple. Sometimes you may not implant as many as you fertilized. So if we didn’t have stem cell research, we would just toss the other fertilized eggs. How is that better than studying them and using them as treatment for people in need of the cell transplants? It only makes sense to fund the research as long as it is done correctly.
It's important to remember that the embryos used for stem cell research will be destroyed whether the research is done or not. These are excess embryos that will not be implanted in the prospective mother. If they aren't used for research, they're simply disposed of like any other kind of medical waste. Stem cells can save lives and improve health. I believe that bio technology needs to be growing and improving at a faster rate then it is now. It is important to think about ethics when your are going into a new technology that not many people know about. There is not much funding for this because people think it's wrong taking the embryo's life away even if it is only a couple weeks old. It's a fight of ethics and morality. I believe that if the embryos are going to die anyway then why cant they be used for research before they die, maybe the scientist could save them before they die.
Creative Bioarray is always know that the stem cell controversy is the consideration of the ethics of research involving the development, use, and destruction of human embryos.
makes sense now!
Philosophy graduate... equally unprepared for all jobs lol
